Asah Collective was founded with a vision to ignite a renewed passion for the creative arts within faith communities. As a creative duo, we are dedicated to exploring the intersection of art, faith, and transformation.
Together we create live, collaborative artwork during worship and prayer sessions, where we’ve witnessed profound moments of healing, deliverance, and inspiration. Through our art, we aim to convey messages of hope, vision, and purpose, inviting others to experience the divine in a deeply personal way.
Our offerings include worshops, art classes for children and adults, seasonal worshops, annual exhibitions, immersive retreats, and collaborations with various artists around the globe. Each initiative is designed to inspire, equip, and reclaim the arts as a medium for spiritual awakening and creative expression.

Nevil Winterburn
When l was young l struggled to read and spell. At the time people encouraged me to read comic books, and this is where l started to love to draw. I found a passion for drawing wildlife and people. I remember drawing from comic books and National Geographic magazines, not really painting, but always sketching.
For almost 25 years, due to various reasons l never continued to do anything that was considered creative, but always having a regret that I didn’t pursue a career in the creative arts.
Today God has given me a second chance at living a creative lifestyle, but this time for His glory. I get to be a witness of God’s creativity through my art pieces, l get to create for Him , and give the world art pieces that Glorify His Name, His Word. I get to redeem His creation, show His love (through art), and speak to people about how God is the ultimate Creator, and amazingly, His creativity lives inside of us all!
Danett Winterburn
I am a contemporary artist who currently lives in stunning Cape Town, South Africa. I am married and have 3 beautiful daughters who are all creative in their own way. I love painting nature scenes (botanical) and especially the beautiful wildlife in our country. I am able to work in a numerous different mediums., but prefer to work in oil paints on canvas.
Recently I have received prophetic images and visions from God. I connect them with scriptures from the Bible and ask the Holy Spirit the purpose and reason behind them. This is currently a very exciting journey for me as I start understanding the Fathers heart better through these images that I receive, as a creative Artist. My style pulls mostly to realism, but I enjoy working loose and free as not confine myself to only one style. Because of my background in working on large scale murals in casinos and using different techniques on aging and gilding, they would be visible in most of my works.
I enjoy teaching art to kids, as they remind me to stay free in exploring new ideas, but still allowing them to create in a space with boundaries, teaching them skill and technique. Together with my husband Nevil Winterburn, we give workshops to adults allowing them to break free and create in a safe environment. Bringing them back to a place, to create with The Creator of all, Jesus. Many have received healing, deliverance and restoration in their walk with God pursuing the arts or even looking at some of our artworks.
