‘DAVID’’ is part of a series ‘The Four Living Creatures’.

This painting portrays young David, sent to the nations, holding a white lamb with a black head and paws—symbolizing Jesus, the Lamb of God, who bore our sins. The thorn crown upon the lamb’s head reflects Christ’s suffering, the sacrifice He made to redeem humanity.
